Welcome to Cisco Pilates

Thank you for supporting a woman-owned, local business in Asheville! Cisco Pilates is a Classical Pilates studio in Asheville, North Carolina, owned and operated by Alexis Miller since 2011. I’m a one-woman show, so when I’m not teaching you, I’m working on my website, social media, newsletters, book keeping, equipment maintenance, continuing ed, and of course, doing Pilates myself!

For adults who want to workout safely and effectively, Cisco Pilates provides low impact, targeted strength and mobility training in private or small group options on equipment, mat, and online. Achieve the most beneficial Pilates workout specific to your body's needs, while supporting your lifestyle so that you can grow stronger everyday. We welcome all bodies and all levels.

Private Asheville Pilates Studio

Cisco Pilates is a small, cozy studio located in a private residence just North of Downtown Asheville, North Carolina, in the Five Points Neighborhood. If you’re looking for an intimate, private, and non-competitive environment for Pilates in Asheville, with birds chirping outside the window and always free easy parking, Cisco Pilates is the place for you!


Private Pilates Lessons

Private Pilates lessons are the best way to start your Pilates practice because you'll get the one-on-one attention necessary when learning something new. Pilates is exercise. Just like learning a new instrument or language, it will take time for your body to acclimate to this new way of moving, and to learn how to use the equipment. It is best to start with one to three private lessons per week in the beginning so that you can develop a strong foundation for the practice.

Gyms and large studios aren’t for everyone. Cisco Pilates Asheville specializes in private classes on the reformer and other equipment, as well as mat classes in another private residence a block away. This space is completely private…just you and the teacher and no other students or teachers.

Mondays and Thursdays 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Saturdays 11:00am - our once a month FREE Pilates mat class at Pack Memorial Library and online. This class is beginner friendly, for all levels. See the schedule.

We recommend that everyone take at least one private lesson before attending mat class. If you are experienced and don't have major injuries, just let us know and we can fit you in to the class without having a private lesson first.

We carry the highest quality Pilates equipment available from Gratz. We have a Reformer, Tower/Wall Unit, Ladder Barrel, Wunda Chair, Spine Corrector, as well as a Foot Corrector and Toe Corrector and many small props.

Depending on your needs, we'll develop an exercise routine designed especially for you. We recommend that you do Pilates with us 1-3 times/week. You can mix and match mat classes with private instruction as well.

Private Lessons

In-Person or Online

Private Pilates lessons are recommended to start your Pilates practice. Get the ultimate Pilates reformer workout on equipment designed by Joe Pilates. We recommend private lessons one to three times per week to start out. They are the best way to get the fastest results, and to get exercises chosen specifically for your body.

Group Classes

Registration Required

We make sure everyone is getting a workout at a level that is appropriate for them. Typically this is an intermediate class with options to make things more or less advanced depending on your level. We use props like magic circles, dowels, weights, the wall, and straps to enhance the workout and keep it fun.

Pilates With Puppies

Registration Required

Join us for the best fundraiser ever! This adorable and super fun basic Pilates class will involve furry friends available for adoption running among your legs and arms as you exercise. All levels welcome.
